해조추출물은 중국의 황해와 보해 등지에서 자라는 오염되지 않은 갈색의 해조를 원재료로 사용한다.
이러한 갈색의 해조에는 토봉 다시마,미역,모자반,톳,감대,대황 등의 종류가 속한다.
사이토키닌,지베릴린 같은 자연적인 식물 호르몬과 다양한 자연영양소를 보유하고 있으며 구성 성분으로 아연,철 등으로 구성된 미량의 광물질과 올리고당,폴리페놀,만니톨,리그닌,단백질,아미노산,알긴산,다당류가 있으며 이 중에는 다당류 같은 탄수화물이 가장 많고 단백질 ,무기질 순으로 천연 물질을 포함하고 있다.
